This year, our event will be held in conjunction with the CT DEEP’s “Free Fishing Day” and the annual “No Child Left Inside” Event at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth, CT.
There will be fishing (lead by CARE instructors) and fish related educational activities (organized by the CT State Parks Division). There will also be fish stocking, fishing, fish cooking, and educational games and activities all focused on fish.
DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT DAY OF LEARNING & FUN!
Pre-registration required to be eligible for the final Great Park Pursuit prize
(Registration opens on Friday, March 24 and closes on Friday, May 5, 2017)
No registration required to come for the day.
This event will be held at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth, CT. The day will start at 9 am and run thru 3 pm. Parents are encouraged to stay for the entire event and encouraged to fish with their children as part of “CT Free Fishing Day”. Bait, hooks & rods will be supplied to those who need them.
