IF YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A WAY TO TEACH A CHILD ABOUT FLYFISHING AND COLD WATER CONSERVATION THEN YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN US FOR:
 
-FLY TYING
-FLY CASTING
-ASSISTING WITH A TROUT STOCKING
-FISHING FOR TROUT IN STOCKED POND

NOTE THAT IT IS CONNECTICUT  FREE FISHING DAY - NO FISHING LICENSE REQUIRED
 
This year, our event will be held in conjunction with the CT DEEP’s “Free Fishing Day” and the annual “No Child Left Inside” Event at Wharton Brook State Park in Wallingford, CT.
 
There will be fishing (lead by CARE instructors) and fish related educational activities (organized by the CT State Parks Division).  There will also be fish stocking, fishing, fish cooking, and educational games and activities all focused on fish.
 
DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT DAY OF LEARNING & FUN!
No Pre-registration needed!
 
This event will be held at Wharton Brook State Park in Wallingford, CT. The day will start at 9 am and run thru 4 pm. Parents are encouraged to stay for the entire event and encouraged to fish with their children as part of “CT Free Fishing Day”.  Bait, hooks & rods will be supplied to those who need them.
