Join us on November 9th for our regular monthly meeting. This month we will have a fishing equipment tag sale prior to the meeting. Bring your "extra" gear that you would like to sell and your cash to buy that "essential" item that you just can't live without!
Following our short business meeting and raffle, Rich Little from Shadcreek Flies will give his presentation on "Fly Fishing in Maine is Wicked Fun." This program highlights Rich's experiences fishing in Maine for many years. He will take us along for a look at great rivers like the Rapid, the East Outlet, the Roach and the West Branch of the Penobscot. These are beautiful rivers that hold nice Brook Trout and Landlocked Salmon.
Rich will share with us his approach to fishing these rivers, the flies that have been successful for him, and the techniques that he uses.
The tag sale will start at 6:00 p.m. Food will be available starting at 6:30 p.m.
We hope to see you at the Quinnipiac River Watershed Association building at 540 Oregon Road in Meriden. This month the doors open at 5:30 to set up for the tag sale. The monthly program starts at 7:00 p.m.
